Creating a WABA Account

To start using WhatsApp messaging In the SmartLink, the first step is to create a WABA account. This sets up your official communication identity within the WhatsApp ecosystem.

A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) can be created on the WhatsApp Business Platform, This is a management account designed for businesses to interact with customers. After completing Meta's review process, this business account allows users to manage their brand identity, link phone numbers, and submit templates. Procedures

  1. Account Application

After the submitted documents have passed the initial compliance check, SmartLink will assist you in completing the final submission and account application.

  1. Account Review

Your documents will be subjected to a final review by Meta, which is estimated to be completed after 3-4 business days. SmartLink will monitor the review progress, and after the approval SmartLink will quickly enable and integrate the account for you.

Each WABA account has a daily sending limit. The initial sending limit for a new account is 250 messages per day. Take not of this limit when setting up campaigns. For information on how to increase sending limits, please refer to WhatsApp Messaging Limits.
